And in Asan Campus, we were given a briefing on our upcoming plans and we were told that we will be moving to Asan Campus, which is the main campus of SunMoon University after the Summer Vacation is over by the end of August. So it came as a good news for us, who felt that staying at the branch Campus in Cheon-an was just too inconvenient, and i strongly because Cheon-an Campus is
- too far from the city centre
- is just a small campus to house international students
- there's no convenient stores within walking distance
- on weekends, it gets too boring and there's not much facilities in this campus
whereas in the main campus in Asan there's
- more facilities , sports facilities are almost complete with indoor sports hall, Bank, convenience stores, hair saloon etc
- it's very much bigger than Cheon-an Campus and of course, feels more like a big university
- more students are housed there, so will have more chance to meet and talk with people
And of course, while staying in Asan can be more pleasant later , we will have to take the shuttle bus to and fro to Cheon-an for our classes because the Korean Language Institute(KLI) is located in Cheon-an.
Also, from September onwards , i would be living with only Korean roommates, not the international roommates which i am sharing a room with now. So that augurs well for my korean proficiency skills and the future.
Looking forward to the move by end of August.
Few days ago, just bought a cellphone. The terms and conditions of getting a cellphone in Korea is different from getting a phone in Malaysia. There's a minimum 2 year contract to sign which binds you with the tele agent. and the tricky part is getting to understand it, in Korean, and luckily i had a korean friend who helped me and my friends to get it^^ But unfortunately for my friends , they have not reached the age of 20, which is 21 years old in Korea, so they can't own a registered postpaid phone yet.
so one of them have to wait just a week more to be a legal adult and one more will just have to get a prepaid phone, because her age is 2 years away from becoming 20, so...>.<
SCH-W270 Samsung Anycall. a really famous phone in korea known for it's design and slimness, and is preferred by a lot of people. SK Telecom, the biggest telecommunications operator in Korea, comparable to Maxis or Digi in Malaysia.

And the biggest difference is..music piracy control ; no transfers of music from one phone to another..and to get mp3 or video..download WITH money ~~~ like getting a caller ringtone in malaysia, cost money.
Music piracy is strictly prohibited in Korea, ..so don't play play! hehehe..^^
but i don't care so much about it, i just want this phone , for it's sleek design, have been wanting to own this phone for some time! woot^^
Rainy days during summer is frequent in Korea. It always rains ..and rains..but it's not that heavy..more to periodical showers..
Got to know some malaysian JPA students who are in Seoul National University(SNU) through MSN, and we decided to meet up next week Saturday(2nd August) together with the other malaysians who are in the same program i am. Looking forward to it

Saturday, which is tomorrow, is BEACH DAY, yes~ going to beach with all the international students for our summer trip^^ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
And the most important one, Level 2 Exam
25/7/08,Weds : 3 minute Korean Speech Test
26/7 Thurs : Speaking Test
27/7 : Writing,Reading and Listening
have 5 days to prepare..no...make it 4..wish me luck^^
