A week has passed since I moved in here from my 'hometown' in Korea, Cheon-an in Chung-nam Province
Currently in Seoul , Gwanak district where Korea's most prestigious famed World Top 50 university, Seoul National University is located. Well, 8 months have passed as well since my first blog in Korea and since then lots of things have changed. Well the most obvious one would be my Korean language ability! Been only speaking Korean most of the day with Koreans so I guess conversation-wise, it's kinda smooth already^^ but still a long way to go to be on par with native speakers of Korean or somewhere there...>..<> That subject is actually for native Koreans but fortunately there is a special class for foreigners ^^ But still it'll be hard because it's competency level is above Level 6!
Lots of Orientation~~
16th Feb: Engineering Department Orientation + Welcoming Ceremony
23-25th Feb: Engineering Department MT ( Membership Training ) , some kind like a 3 day 2 night camp to get to know department members and seniors ( ice-breaking)
25th Feb: Orientation for Foreigners ( Some talk on life in SNU and course registration )
2rd March : Orientation for SNU Freshmen ( Speech by Uni Chancellor and Oath swearing ceremony)
3rd March : Beginning of SNU student LIFE~~ ^^ Orientation of some classes^^
4th March : Dormitory Orientation and start of regular class~
First year taking basically Physics, Chemistry and Calculus. Also taking 대학국어 or College Korean and Advance English courses.
